Sow Studio – Terms & Conditions
Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Pricing may be subject to review for projects commencing after this period or where project specifications change.
Orders & Payment
Work will commence upon written approval of the quotation and receipt of the required deposit. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a 50% deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due prior to collection, dispatch, or delivery of the completed work.
Alternative payment terms may be agreed in advance and confirmed in writing. Sow Studio reserves the right to withhold delivery of goods, samples, or digital files until all outstanding balances have been paid in full.
Lead Times
Lead times provided are estimates only and are based on the information available at the time of quotation. Production schedules are dependent upon the timely receipt of artwork, approvals, materials, and payment where applicable.
Delays in receiving approvals, assets, materials, or payment may result in revised delivery dates.
Sampling & Approvals
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all artwork, digitised files, samples, proofs, and specifications prior to production. Once approval has been given, Sow Studio cannot be held responsible for errors that were present in the approved artwork or sample.
Client-Supplied Materials
Where clients provide fabrics, garments, or other materials, Sow Studio cannot accept responsibility for damage, shrinkage, colour variation, or unforeseen issues arising during the embroidery process. Clients are encouraged to provide additional materials where possible to allow for testing.
Bespoke & Made-to-Order Work
All sampling, digitising, and embroidered products are produced to order and are bespoke to each client. As such, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once work has commenced.
Intellectual Property
Clients warrant that they own or have permission to use any artwork, logos, designs, or other materials supplied to Sow Studio. The client accepts full responsibility for any copyright or intellectual property claims arising from supplied artwork.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all embroidery digitising files, technical artwork, production files, stitch data, and embroidery programming created by Sow Studio remain the intellectual property of Sow Studio. Payment for digitising, sampling, or production does not transfer ownership of these files.
Digitised embroidery files are created specifically for use within Sow Studio's production process and will not be supplied, transferred, sold, or shared with third parties unless agreed in writing and subject to an additional licensing or transfer fee.
Ownership of the client's original artwork and design concepts remains with the client.
Delivery
Any delivery dates provided are estimates and are not guaranteed. Sow Studio shall not be liable for delays caused by couriers, suppliers, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Limitation of Liability
Sow Studio's liability in relation to any order shall be limited to the value of the services supplied. Sow Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or commercial losses.
Acceptance
Approval of a quotation, purchase order, invoice payment, or instruction to proceed constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
